Gel X Extensions
What are Gel X nails?+
Gel X nails are a newer type of nail extension using pre-shaped soft gel tips bonded to your natural nails with gel adhesive and cured under an LED lamp. They are lightweight, odor-free, and require no drilling on your natural nails, making them one of the healthiest extension options available. Learn more on our Gel X Extensions page.
How long do Gel X nails last?+
Gel X nails typically last 3 to 4 weeks with proper care. We recommend booking a fill-in appointment every 2 to 3 weeks to keep them looking fresh. Using cuticle oil daily and wearing gloves when cleaning can significantly extend their life. See our Gel X Extensions page for more details.
How much do Gel X nails cost?+
Gel X full sets start at $60 for short, $65+ for medium, and $75+ for long. Pricing may vary depending on shape and any additional nail art. We are always transparent about pricing before we begin any service. See our full Services & Prices page for details.
Are Gel X nails better than acrylic?+
It depends on your needs. Gel X nails are lighter, odor-free, and gentler on natural nails. Acrylic nails are stronger and better for very long nails or complex shapes. Our technicians can help you decide which option is best for your lifestyle during your appointment. Compare both on our Gel X and Acrylic Nails pages.
Do Gel X nails damage your natural nails?+
No — Gel X is one of the gentlest extension methods available. Unlike acrylics, there is no drilling or filing of your natural nail required for application. As long as they are removed properly by soaking off rather than prying, your natural nails stay healthy.
Acrylic Nails
How long do acrylic nails last?+
Acrylic nails can last 3 to 5 weeks with proper maintenance. We recommend getting a fill-in every 2 to 3 weeks as your natural nails grow. Regular fills keep your acrylics looking fresh and prevent lifting. See our Acrylic Nails page for full details.
How much do acrylic nails cost?+
Acrylic full sets start at $48+ and refills start at $43+. Ombre sets start at $60, and Pink & White sets start at $55. The final price depends on length, shape, and finish. See our Services & Prices page for the full menu.
Will acrylic nails damage my natural nails?+
When applied and removed properly by a licensed technician, acrylic nails should not cause significant damage. Our technicians are trained in safe application and proper removal methods. We always recommend professional removal rather than picking or peeling off your acrylics at home.
What is the difference between a full set and a refill?+
A full set means applying brand new acrylic nails from scratch — usually when you don't currently have acrylics or are starting fresh. A refill (also called a fill-in) is done every 2 to 3 weeks to fill in the gap of new nail growth at the base, while keeping the existing acrylic intact. Refills are less expensive than full sets.
Can I get ombre or pink & white acrylic nails?+
Yes! We offer ombre acrylic full sets starting at $60 (refill $55) and Pink & White full sets starting at $55 (refill $50). These are beautiful, classic looks our technicians specialize in. See full pricing on our Acrylic Nails page.
Dip Powder Nails
What are dip powder nails?+
Dip powder nails are a long-lasting manicure technique where your nails are coated with a bonding base coat and then dipped into pigmented powder. An activator is applied to harden the powder without needing UV or LED light. The result is a strong, chip-resistant finish that lasts 3 to 4 weeks. Learn more on our Dip Powder Nails page.
How much does dip powder cost at Iconiq Nail Verse?+
Dip powder on natural nails starts at $45 cash. With added tips for extra length from $50+, French tip from $50+, and ombre from $60+. See our Dip Powder page for full pricing details.
Does dip powder require UV or LED light?+
No. Dip powder sets with a special activator — no UV or LED lamp is needed. This makes it a great option for clients who prefer to avoid UV light exposure. The result is a hard, chip-resistant finish that lasts 3 to 4 weeks.
How long does dip powder last?+
Dip powder typically lasts 3 to 4 weeks without chipping or fading. Applying cuticle oil daily, wearing gloves when cleaning, and avoiding using your nails as tools will help your dip last as long as possible.
Pedicures
What is included in your spa pedicure?+
Our Classic Spa Pedicure includes toenail trimming and shaping, cuticle and soft callus treatment, and sugar scrub exfoliation. Our upgraded pedicures add extras like hydrating masks, paraffin wax, hot stone massage, shoulder massages, herbal neck wraps, and specialty soaks. We use disposable pedicure liners for maximum hygiene.
How much do pedicures cost?+
Our pedicures start at $35 for the Classic Spa Pedicure and go up to $90 for our luxurious 24K Gold Anti-Aging or Ginseng Spa treatment. We have a range of options in between to suit every budget and preference. Visit our Pedicures page to see the full menu.
What is your most popular pedicure?+
Our Bubble World Spa Pedicure ($55 cash) is one of our most popular choices! It includes a relaxing bubble salt soak, sugar scrub with fresh orange, paraffin treatment, hot stone massage, hydrating mask, and a warm herbal neck wrap. Our Milk & Honey Pedicure ($65 cash) is also a client favorite for its deeply moisturizing benefits.
How long does a pedicure take?+
Our Classic Spa Pedicure takes approximately 35 minutes. Upgraded pedicures range from 45 to 75 minutes depending on the service. Our 24K Gold and Ginseng Spa treatments are the longest at around 75 minutes. We recommend allowing a little extra time so you can fully relax without feeling rushed.
Can I add shellac or gel polish to my pedicure?+
Yes! All of our pedicure prices include regular polish. You can upgrade to shellac (gel polish) for longer-lasting color that won't chip. Ask your technician about shellac add-on pricing when you visit.
Manicures
What manicure services do you offer?+
We offer three manicure tiers: Classic Manicure ($20 polish / $35 shellac), Deluxe Manicure ($30 polish / $45 shellac), and Royal Manicure ($40 polish / $55 shellac). Each tier adds more luxurious treatments like exfoliation, hydrating masks, and extended massage. See our Manicures page for full details.
What is the difference between shellac and regular polish?+
Regular nail polish air-dries and can chip within days. Shellac (gel polish) is cured under an LED lamp and lasts 2 to 3 weeks without chipping. Shellac also has a higher-gloss finish. We recommend shellac if you want longer-lasting color with no maintenance in between visits.
Do you offer manicures for kids?+
Yes! Our Little Princess Treat menu is designed for guests under 10 years old. A mini manicure starts at $12 (polish) or $22 (shellac). It is the perfect treat for a birthday, special occasion, or a fun day out with mom!

What is builder gel?+
Builder gel is a thick, self-leveling gel that can be used two ways — as a protective overlay to strengthen your natural nails, or to add moderate extension length using tips or forms. Learn more on our Builder Gel page.

Safety & Hygiene
What are your sanitation practices?+
Cleanliness is our top priority. All metal tools are sterilized between every client. We use disposable files, buffers, and pedicure liners. Our workstations are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between appointments. Our practices meet and exceed Texas state board requirements.
Are your technicians licensed?+
Absolutely. All of our nail technicians are fully licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). Our team receives ongoing training to stay current with the latest techniques, products, and safety standards in the nail industry.
Are your pedicure chairs sanitary?+
Yes. We use disposable pedicure liners inside our pedicure bowls for every single client — this means your feet never touch a surface that another client has touched. The liners are removed and discarded after each service, ensuring maximum hygiene.
Nail Care Tips
How do I make my nails last longer?+
To extend the life of any nail service: apply cuticle oil daily, wear gloves when cleaning or doing dishes, avoid using your nails as tools, and moisturize your hands regularly. For gel and acrylic nails, try to keep your fill-in appointments on schedule every 2 to 3 weeks.
How do I remove acrylic or gel nails safely?+
We strongly recommend coming into the salon for professional removal. Attempting to peel or pry off acrylic or gel nails at home can cause significant damage to your natural nails. Professional removal involves soaking with acetone and gently removing the product without harming the nail underneath.
How often should I get my nails done?+
For acrylic and gel extensions, we recommend a fill-in every 2 to 3 weeks. For dip powder and gel manicures, plan for a fresh set every 3 to 4 weeks. For spa pedicures, every 4 to 6 weeks is ideal to keep your feet looking and feeling their best year-round.

What nail service lasts the longest?+
TAP Hybrid Gel lasts the longest — up to 5 weeks with proper care. Acrylic and Gel X typically last 3–4 weeks between fills. Dip powder and builder gel also last 3–4 weeks. Regular gel polish (shellac manicure) lasts 2–3 weeks. If longevity is your top priority, TAP Hybrid Gel is our best option.
Is dip powder better than gel nails?+
Both are great options — it depends on your lifestyle. Dip powder is stronger than gel polish, requires no UV lamp, and lasts 3–4 weeks. Gel nails (shellac) are thinner, more flexible, and easier to remove at home. For clients who want the most durability without extensions, dip powder is usually the better choice. See our dip powder page for more details.
Can I get my nails done while pregnant?+
Yes — many of our expecting clients choose services like dip powder, builder gel, or TAP Hybrid Gel because they are 100% odor-free. We recommend avoiding strong acrylic fumes during pregnancy. Our salon has good ventilation and we are happy to discuss the most comfortable options for you. Just let your technician know when you arrive.
